The writing residency I co-direct at Bayt Al Mamzar in Dubai has kicked off its fourth edition, with three selected writing residents—Neha Vora, Farah Fawzi Ali, and Ioanna Orphanide. This summer, our residents will be working on their proposed text-based projects surrounding the question of excess within a Gulf context.
